Process and guideline is given below:
Uses
-To diagnose fracture or dislocation of bone and joint.
-Show appropriate arrangement and adjustment of hard pieces following treatment of a fracture.
-Assist in major orthopaedic surgeries, for example, spine repair, joint substitution etc.
-To Diagnose anomalous bone developments, to locate the foreign body in soft tissues around or in bones.
-Aid the location and analysis of bone tumour & Cancers.
Preparation:
- Make sure to Inform your technician prior to the exam if you are pregnant or may be pregnant.
- Our Expert Technician will be asked you to remove all or some of your clothes and wear a gown during the x-ray examination also you will be asked to remove all jewellery, removable dental appliances, eyeglasses and any metal objects or clothing that might interfere with the x-ray images.
During the test:
- Our expert technician will be asked to stay still in awkward positions for a short period of time.
- Our expert technician may ask you to hold your breath or not move during the brief exposure.
- X-ray examination is painless, fast and easy.
Duration:
Approximately 10 minutes.
